Event Details

• Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
• Time: 2:00 PM
• Entry Fee: $10.00
• Game: Guitar Hero World Tour for Nintendo Wii (Played on Wii U)
  
• Equipment: Players may bring in their Wii Guitars, but JPP will have our own tested Wii Guitars available for the tournament. JPP is not responsible for guitar malfunction during the tournament.
  

Event Rules

• Format: Best-of-1 Pro Face Off, Single Elimination.
• Difficulty: Players may choose their difficulty (minimum of Medium), but keep in mind that the higher difficulty you choose, the higher score you have a chance of getting!
  
• Capacity: Limited to 32 players.
  • Note: If the event sells out and players who pre-pay are not checked in by 11:55, their ticket may be subject to be refunded and sold to a walk-in player.

Round Tier Progression: To test your true setlist mastery, each round pulls from specific tier venues:

• Round of 32: Guitar Venues 5–11
• Round of 16: Guitar Venues 12–14
• Round of 8: Guitar Venues 15 and 16
• Round of 4: Guitar Venues 17 and 18
• Third Place Match: The battle for bronze will be settled entirely on "B.Y.O.B." by System of a Down.
• The Finals: A brutal two-song marathon featuring "Hot For Teacher" by Van Halen and "Satch Boogie" by Joe Satriani. The ultimate winner will be determined by combined total scores.

Prizing will be awarded as Just Press Play gift cards:

First Place: $100 Gift Card

Second Place: $75 Gift Card

Third Place: $50 Gift Card 

Fourth Place: $25 Gift Card

Best Dressed Player: $25 Gift Card (Dress like your favorite rocker, break out the leather jackets, or go full 80s glam!)
